What is a medical gas pipeline system?
A medical gas pipeline system ensures that oxygen, compressed air, vacuum and other gases are reliably available around the clock in all areas of a hospital – from the central plant to the outlets.
The system consists of several precisely coordinated components: it starts with the central gas supply unit, which provides, regulates and monitors the gases. From there, they reach every part of the building through the permanently installed pipeline system. On the wards, control units take over monitoring and distribution. In the patient rooms, outlets and connection devices provide a safe supply that complies with the standards.
All components work together seamlessly. Permanent monitoring ensures that the entire healthcare facility is supplied reliably and without interruption at all times.
